Laser
Laser hair removal is the high-tech/modern day method of destroying massive amounts of hair follicles with a simple trigger pull. Laser only destroys hair in its active growth phase, the anagen phase. During this phase at least 85% of the hair is permanently removed.
Laser hair removal works by sending a beam of laser light to a group of hair follicles with enough power to disable or destroy the root, but
not enough power to harm the surrounding skin. This process is called selective photothermolysis. It is selective because it targets only the hair and not the skin. Photo means light and thermolysis means destroying with heat. The surrounding skin is usually cooled. Some methods include a gel, a spray, or a cooling tip.
The Laser beam finds the hair follicles by targeting the substance that gives skin and hair dark color - melanin. Therefore, the ideal candidate for laser has dark hair and light skin, but the laser also works well on dark and tanned skin. The laser will not work on people with red, white, gray or true blond hair.
Hair removal by Laser is not electrolysis. Electrolysis is a method of removing individual hairs one-at-a-time by directing an electric current into each hair follicle.

Electrolysis
Electrolysis is the science of permanent hair removal by utilizing solid probe devices and small amounts of electrical energy, which destroys the hair growth tissue eliminating the ability of the hair to regenerate.
As of now the only permanent hair removal solution for people with blonde, white, red or gray hair is Electrolysis. Electrolysis is a slower process, where each hair is removed individually.

TEMPORARY HAIR REMOVAL:
 Waxing
Waxing is a temporary method of hair removal which removes the hair at the root. New hairs do not grow back in the waxed area for up to three to eight weeks. Almost any area of the body can be waxed, including eyebrows, face, bikini area, legs, arms, back, abdomen and feet.
Waxing is accomplished by spreading a wax combination thinly over the skin. A cloth or paper strip is pressed on the top and then pulled off with a quick movement against the direction of hair growth. This removes the wax along with the hair and dead skin cells leaving the skin smooth.
New hair growth in waxed areas is soft and fine, not sharp and coarse like shaved hair.

Threading
Threading is an ancient hair removal technique experiencing a resurgence due to its efficacy. Called khite in Arabic and fatlah in Egyptian.
A highly-skilled professional holds one end of the cotton thread between the teeth and the other end in the left hand. The middle of the thread is looped through the index and middle fingers of the right hand. The loop is used to trap a series of unwanted hairs and lift them from the skin.
The major advantage of this procedure is that no heat or chemicals are applied to the skin.
