Microneedling

Automated Microneedling (also known as Collagen Induction Therapy or CIT) is a minimally invasive procedure during which a Needling “Pen” creates a series of predictable, controlled epidermal and dermal micro-injuries, thereby stimulating the body's own collagen and elastin production. This results in tightening, lifting and rejuvenating the skin as well as reducing and/or improving the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, pore size, stretch marks, hyper and hypo pigmentation and scarring (such as surgical and acne scars).

Furthermore Microneedling creates superficial micro-channels which enhance the penetration of topical active ingredients. For instance, Hyaluronic Acid, Peptides or Collagen serum, can be used to  hydrate and re-epithelialize the skin. Depending on what skin condition is being targeted, your medical skin care professional may also infuse anti-redness or anti-acne serums, lightening agents, and/or active growth factors to the needed depth. Needle depth can be adjusted precisely to ensure safe levels of dermal penetration. The skin’s repair process in conjunction with the infused active ingredients result in improvement of the overall appearance of the skin:  softer lines, fewer wrinkles and a smoother, more youthful and more luminous dermis.
